How to prepare for a job interview at Berry Recruitment

Know Your Cleaning Priorities

Before the interview, make sure you understand the key responsibilities of the role. Familiarise yourself with what skirting boards and touch points are, and be ready to discuss how you would prioritise these tasks during your cleaning routine.

Showcase Your Reliability

Employers love candidates who are dependable. Be prepared to share examples from your past work where you demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic. This could include punctuality, completing tasks on time, or going the extra mile.

Highlight Teamwork and Initiative

Since this role requires being a team player while also using your own initiative, think of specific instances where you've successfully worked in a team or taken the lead on a task. Share these stories to show you can adapt to both situations.

Plan Your Transport

Given the remote location of the job, it's wise to mention your transport situation during the interview. If you have your own transport, let them know! If not, consider discussing how you plan to manage commuting, as this shows foresight and responsibility.
