Berry Recruitment are looking for 5x HGV Class 2 Drivers for our well established client based in Watton, Norfolk.
Pay rate: Β£14.31 - Β£16.35 per hour
Hours: 5.45am - 2.15pm
Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday
Location: Norfolk
As a HGV Driver within refuse collection, you will be required to:
- Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
- Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal
- Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
- Complete relevant paperwork in real time
- Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use
- Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles
- Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users
You will also be required to hold:
- A valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
- A driver CPC
- Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Willingness to undertake tasks
