CLASS 2 DRIVERS NEEDED ON DAY SHIFT OR TRAMPERS NIGHTS - SUBJECT TO DRIVING ASSESSMENT
Shifts Available:
- Day shift – 05:00am – 17:00pm (Monday to Friday)
- Night Shift – 17:00pm – 05:00am (Monday to Friday)
HGV 2 Pay Rate: £17.00 PAYE to £20.00 UMBRELLA per hour
Responsibilities:
- Drive Class 2 Goods Vehicles (HGVs)
- Transport effluent and waste water as part of duties.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours and activities.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Collaborate with team members and follow delivery schedules.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
- Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Ideally a minimum of 1 year experience driving; however, full driver assessments, inductions and training will be provided, so new passes will also be considered.
- Willingness to take an alcohol and drugs test during the induction process and on a continuing basis when working on shifts.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
