We are currently recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy workshop in Bodmin, Cornwall on a temporary basis. This role is providing sickness cover and is expected to last for an initial period of two weeks, with the potential to be extended.
The Role
- As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections and supporting the workshop team with servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a range of cars and light commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA standards
- Complete routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs
- Maintain and repair cars and light commercial vehicles
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Accurately complete relevant documentation and reports
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Light Vehicle qualification (minimum)
- Valid MOT Tester qualification
- Previous experience working within a vehicle workshop environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
