Job Description Chef de partie Contract type: Temporary Pay Rate: £17hr Shift type: 7AM - 15:00PM Assignment date: 02/09/2026 - 18/09/2026 Location: Bath, BA2 8PA Located in a Secondary and Sixth Form site. Involved in mobilising and starting a new school. Candidates must be able to get stuck in and support with mobilisation. This will be a mix of managing people and getting the site up and running. As a Chef de partie you will be working all hands on deck and doing the responsibilities below; Prep and stock the designated section before service Cook and plate menu items accuratelu during service manage station inventory and minimize food waste train and oversee commis chefs or kitchen assistants Maintain strict kitchen hygiene and safety standards Requirements for this role: Enhanced DBS - can accept personal Enhanced DBS that have been done in the past 30 days and are on the updated services. Safeguarding children KCSIE training Level 3 food safety training Allergens training This training is mandatory for this role.
