Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Temporary Facilities Assistant to work for a company in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Role: Temporary Facilities Assistant (6 Weeks)
Salary: £13.00 Per Hour
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Hours: 07:30 for 3 hours each morning
Key Responsibilities of the Temporary Facilities Assistant:
- Building Opening: Open and unlock three office buildings each morning. Carry out an initial walk-round to ensure facilities are ready for occupancy. Open blinds and prepare workspaces for the day ahead. Report any maintenance, security, or housekeeping issues to the Facilities Team.
- Kitchen Preparation: Empty and unload dishwashers. Prepare coffee machines and ensure they are ready for use. Distribute fresh milk to kitchen areas. Replenish kitchen supplies as required. Ensure kitchens are clean, tidy, and presentable.
- Meeting Room Readiness: Check meeting rooms each morning to ensure they are ready for use. Tidy rooms and arrange furniture where necessary. Ensure presentation equipment appears operational and rooms are presentable. Stock meeting rooms with any required consumables.
- Office and Grounds Presentation: Carry out general tidying of office and communal areas. Keep entranceways, reception areas, and shared spaces presentable. Undertake light housekeeping duties as required. Assist in maintaining the appearance of external areas and grounds.
- Plant Care: Water indoor and outdoor plants as required. Monitor plant condition and report any concerns.
- General Facilities Support: Assist with ad hoc duties as requested by the Facilities Team. Support office moves, deliveries, and room setups where required. Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
