Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Reception Team Leader to work for a company in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Salary: £26,500 - £29,000 per annum

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities of the Reception Team Leader:

  • To oversee the daily operational activities of the reception desks, including travelling between the three legal offices.
  • Ensure that agreed service levels are maintained and exceeded where possible.
  • Produce, manage and operate the reception rota, including lunch rotas, sickness and future planned absences, planning cover and playing a flexible role to cover team absences when required.
  • Deliver training to new receptionists ensuring they are given the skills needed to successfully carry out their role.
  • Travel to each office to complete the monthly office checks.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager and undertake any delegated tasks.
  • Support the Office Manager with appraisals and performance management of staff, including quarterly meetings with the reception team.

  • Someone proactive who can lead, motivate and inspire the team to provide a professional client experience.
  • Someone who can take initiative to create more efficient processes and implement new best practices.
  • Someone who can provide guidance and support to the existing receptionist teams.
  • Experience of working as a receptionist or front of house role.
  • Experience of motivating and developing a team.
  • Someone with a minimum of one year's reception experience.
