Warehouse Operative – Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:30 (30-minute lunch)

Start Date: ASAP

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established family-run business, who are seeking a reliable and methodical Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and hardworking environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily picking and packing, including retrieving stock from automated picking machines and pallet racking.
  • Completing general warehouse duties such as stock taking, goods-in booking, pallet logging, machine/racking replenishment, cardboard shredding, and box making.
  • Ensuring accuracy by following procedures and instructions to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across all warehouse areas.
  • Communicating effectively with the Warehouse team regarding customer orders.
About You
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude and understanding of the responsibility within the role.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
  • Ideally hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
