We are recruiting Yard Recycling Picker Operatives to work for our client in the Paddock Wood area. The role involves sorting through commercial recycled waste, working within a refuse environment and remaining flexible throughout the day. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
- Remove waste products from designated collection areas while being mindful of large machinery.
- Manually transfer waste materials as required.
- Recycle any product identified as recyclable on the picking line; the work can be dusty.
- Work outdoors in a covered yard with open sides; dress appropriately for weather conditions.
- Maintain high attention to health & safety for oneself and others, given proximity to moving machinery and a busy environment.
- Escalate any client queries or dissatisfaction to the management team.
- Work independently or as part of a team during the work day.
- Own transport is essential due to the location.
- Wear hi‑vis clothing and safety boots at all times.
- The work environment is dusty.
