The Leonardo Account is a strategically important ISS account, delivering a range of Engineering, Cleaning and Catering services across six sites in the UK.

Building strong relationships with the customer and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery are central to the success of the account.

Role Purpose

The Workplace Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day management and coordination of workplace services, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and in line with both ISS and client requirements.

Working closely with the Client Site Lead and wider ISS team, the Workplace Manager will coordinate workplace operations, administration, compliance, security and customer-facing services, while supporting the delivery of contractual KPIs, SLAs and performance objectives.

This is an autonomous and highly visible role requiring a proactive, solutions-focused approach, excellent organisational skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels.

The role will also require the appropriate level of security clearance due to the nature and requirements of the client environment.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace & Operational Management

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day coordination and smooth running of workplace services across the site.
  • Work closely with the Client Site Lead to understand and deliver workplace requirements and priorities.
  • Coordinate the weekly schedule of contract management activities and ensure information is communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Host and coordinate meetings, events and workplace activities.
  • Support mailroom operations and other workplace services as required.
  • Coordinate hospitality and meeting room requirements, including refreshments and associated arrangements.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with the client and key stakeholders.
  • Act as a key point of contact for workplace-related queries and requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with the client to ensure expectations are understood and consistently delivered.
  • Support the delivery of an excellent customer experience and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
  • Work collaboratively with ISS colleagues, suppliers and client representatives to ensure effective service delivery.

Compliance, Health & Safety

  • Support the delivery and maintenance of all statutory, mandatory and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Ensure workplace activities are carried out in accordance with ISS and client policies, procedures and standards.
  • Promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture and lead by example.
  • Support the completion of audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
  • Coordinate alarm-related requirements and act as the site Alarms Coordinator.

Security & Access Management

  • Print and issue employee and visitor ID badges in accordance with site procedures.
