Nursery Cook (Temporary) - Coxhoe, Durham

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Nursery Cook to work within a nursery setting in Coxhoe, Durham on a temporary basis for approximately one month.
This role would suit an experienced cook who is confident preparing fresh, nutritious meals for children while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking meals for children
- Catering for dietary requirements and allergies
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
- Adhering to food safety and health & safety regulations
- Managing food storage and stock rotation
- Completing kitchen cleaning duties and maintaining food hygiene records
Requirements:
- Previous cooking experience within a nursery, school, care, or similar catering environment
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential)
- Ability to work independently and manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Role Details:
- Location: Coxhoe, Durham
- Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
- Hours: 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Duration: Approximately 1 month
