Caretaker/Cleaner

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Caretaker/Cleaner to provide cover at a school in the Bishop Auckland area. This is initially a one-week assignment, with the potential to become a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Duties Include:
- Opening and securing the premises
- Carrying out general caretaking and site maintenance duties
- Completing basic compliance and health & safety checks
- Ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and well-maintained
- Cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors, and communal areas
- Supporting with additional cleaning duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous caretaking, facilities, site maintenance, or similar experience
- Experience carrying out basic compliance and health & safety checks
- Willingness to undertake cleaning duties
- Full UK driving licence and own transport due to the location of the site
- Enhanced DBS certificate required
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 4 hours per day
- Start time of either 6:00am or 7:00am
