The role of Maintenance Support

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks
  • Completing general building repairs and maintenance
  • Basic plumbing, painting, decorating, and furniture repairs
  • Monitoring fire alarms, emergency lighting, and site facilities
  • Maintaining external areas including pathways, car parks, and storage areas
  • Undertaking gardening and grounds maintenance duties
  • Supporting contractors on-site and completing maintenance records

The ideal Maintenance Support

  • Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, caretaker, or handyman role
  • Strong practical and problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Plumbing or electrical experience would be advantageous
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
