Berry Recruitment is recruiting for a Front of House Catering Assistant to join a busy and friendly team on a temp-to-perm basis in Uxbridge.

The rewards:

  • £13.00 per hour (approximately £25,500 per annum upon permanent placement).
  • Temp to perm after 12 weeks, with permanent hours increasing to 37.5 per week.

Hours:

  • 36 hours per week — Monday to Thursday 7:00am–3:00pm, Friday 7:00am–1:00pm.

The role of a Catering Assistant:

  • Providing excellent front-of-house customer service in a fast-paced catering environment.
  • Serving hot lunches to customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Taking and preparing coffee and sandwich orders.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the serving area throughout the shift.
  • Supporting the team during busy service periods.

The ideal Catering Assistant candidate:

  • Strong English communication skills, spoken and written.
  • Confident dealing with customers and delivering great service.
  • Energetic, proactive and able to work well under pressure with a positive attitude.
  • Barista experience desirable but not essential.
  • Local to Uxbridge or with own transport preferred.
