Responsibilities

You’re an innovative thinker, passionate about the planet and eager to play a role in creating sustainable packaging that keeps the world healthy, fed and working. As part of our world-class, performance-focused team you’ll work within our Visqueen Technical Office which is a specialised department within our organisation, primarily focused on providing technical support and services to our customers and clients. The Visqueen Technical Office plays a critical role in providing quick response to customer enquiries, product application and installation guidance, CAD technical drawings, as well as project and document support.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers by phone, email and face-to-face
• Assist in the preparation and development of technical drawings and specifications for construction projects
• Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure drawings and specifications are technically feasible and meet regulatory standards
• Utilise CAD software and other relevant tools to produce accurate and high quality technical drawings
• Apply knowledge of Visqueen materials and interrogate drawings to calculate quantities of materials required for the project

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction principles and ability to create and read construction related drawings
• Understanding of damp proofing, waterproofing and/or ground gas protection
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant design tools
• Attention to detail to create accurate and detailed drawings
• Good IT skills with the ability to transfer, display and manipulate work using Microsoft Office software and other programmes
• Good communication and teamwork
• Good organisation and time management
• Good mathematical skills in order to complete calculations and estimates
• Spatial and design skills to be able to visualise projects in 2D and 3D
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
