Role: Quality Inspector (Maternity Cover) This position is based near Port Talbot at Kenfig Industrial Estate, with potential for a permanent role. The role involves working within the quality department, reporting to the Quality Manager, and ensuring product quality through adherence to QMS checks, measurements, sampling, and inspection. The role requires teamwork and independent work, with effective communication at all levels and flexibility to maintain plant operations. The individual will measure production samples throughout shifts using gauges and measuring devices, analyze data primarily through Microsoft Excel and Word, and handle data entry and analysis with high proficiency. The initial wage rate is £12.56 per hour (approximately £27,499 per annum), with further training and remuneration levels available. Own transport is required as the site is not near major transport links. The work schedule is 42.1 hours per week on a rotational 12-hour day/night shift, 4 days on, 4 days off. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
