The bpi division sits within the Flexibles Division of Berry Global Inc. a US listed company with an annual turnover of around $13bn and over 40,000 employees. The bpi division has manufacturing sites across the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Poland and Romania. An opportunity exists for an Electrical Engineer to join our existing Maintenance Department. The position will be working 12-hour shifts, 07:00 19:00, working 84 hours per fortnight, made up of seven shifts per fortnight including alternate weekend work. You will work as part of a team reporting to the Engineering Lead. Duties and Responsibilities Within this role you will undertake planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, repairs and new installation work covering a wide range of equipment, services, systems and buildings associated with the running of a large manufacturing site. Follow and encourage stringent EHS and standard company practices. Daily preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspections. Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
