As a Research Associate on the European Capital Goods team you will: Acquire expertise in the European Capital Goods sector and the issues facing this broad suite of companies Become adept at in-depth analysis of your industry and companies Demonstrate idea generation and make significant contributions to our highly differentiated written product and forward-looking financial analysis Develop relationships with institutional clients, sales and trading, as well as interact with senior management of companies in your industry We make a strong commitment to Associate development, and give you opportunities to rapidly gain visibility and incremental responsibility. Our Research Associates typically also possess: A 1st class or 2:1 undergraduate degree in an academic subject from a highly ranked university A clear interest in investment analysis (demonstrated by the completion, or intention to complete, one or all levels of CFA exams) Excellent broad-based analytical skills built upon a quantitative undergraduate degree. Experience in programming and statistical analysis is highly valued but not essential.
