We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Data Quality and Governance Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As we move toward a more data-centric approach, we seek a dynamic individual passionate about leveraging data to support our mission. Role Responsibilities Develop and implement data management processes, systems, and structures in collaboration with internal teams. Create and review data governance frameworks, including policies and standards for data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance. Evaluate data system performance, monitor data usage, and implement controls for accuracy and completeness. Identify root causes of data issues and implement solutions in line with service levels. Implement procedures to securely handle and share data, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and legal obligations. Collaborate with departments to define and maintain data standards and business rules. Ensure compliance with data regulations, including retention and disposal policies, and protect sensitive information. Provide training and support to staff on data management responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications & Experience BSc in Information Governance, Business Data Analytics, Business Administration, or equivalent. Experience as a Data Manager or similar role, with knowledge of data security, laws, and protocols. Understanding of data policies, ethical, legal, and regulatory considerations, especially regarding privacy and AI/ML. Experience querying databases, managing data in Microsoft environments like Dynamics 365 and SharePoint. Proficiency in data cleansing, migration, and analysis preparation. Strong communication skills, capable of conveying findings to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively across departments to understand data needs.
