We are currently seeking an enthusiastic detail-orientated Awards Standards Manager to join our head office team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover). With a good knowledge of workplace health and safety management, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the Head of Awards, and the wider judging and assessment team, to oversee the awards assessment and review processes. This role is pivotal to maintaining the high standards and reputation of RoSPA's industry-leading Health and Safety Awards, which celebrate their 70th anniversary during 2026. While we are looking for a full time role (35 hours per week), we would also consider this as a part time position of 28 hours per week (pro-rata salary).
Knowledge And Skills
- A university degree or a formal qualification relating to workplace health and safety management
- Experience and qualifications to show strong organisation and coordination skills
- Previous experience in a health and safety-related role

Key Responsibilities
- Managing RoSPA's team of independent assessors and judges, supporting their timely assessment and review of award entries in line with the scheme's various deadlines.
- Coordinate the confirmation and release of award results, ready for communication to award entrant organisations.
- Handle case reviews where entries require further review by RoSPA, and provide entry feedback to entrants.
- Act as a point of contact for the awards administration team for technical entry queries raised by entrants.
- Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and continuous improvement of the awards programme.
