Salary: £34,247 per annum.
Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
Contract: Permanent.

About the Procurement Officer Role:
This role will involve:
- Providing excellent procurement support across the Bernicia Group.
- Evaluating and managing procurement activities.
- Maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Meeting or exceeding performance targets to ensure continually improving operational performance. To ensure procurement services meet customers expectations and priorities and that customers have opportunities to influence service delivery.
Your Experience:
Successful candidates will need:
Essential:
- Minimum of two years Public Procurement experience
- Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- IT skills including the use of Microsoft packaged including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team
Desirable:
- CIPS Qualification or working towards CIPS
- Experience of delivering services within the social housing sector.
- Experience of e-procurement systems specifically In-Tend.
