Contract: Full Time - Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £39,678 per annum (inclusive of April 2026 pay award). Earnings up to £43,000+ per annum including standby.

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Electrician to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department working within our Ashington or Spennymoor maintenance teams.
Responsibilities:
As a Multi Skilled Electrician you will be responsible for undertaking all damp associated electrical repairs and accompanying multiskilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard whilst delivering an excellent customer service.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have a flexible approach and experience of working within a domestic and commercial property maintenance and target driven environment. You will have excellent customer service skills in the delivery of your work, conversing with a wide range of people in the delivery of a first-class repairs service. You will also engage with all stakeholders of the service, acting as an Ambassador of Bernicia, promoting and endorsing the positive work that we do across our communities.
Qualifications:
- NVQ/City & Guilds Certificate qualifying you as an Electrician
- 18th Edition, Testing & Inspection certification
- Full driving licence
- Demonstrated experience of working in a customer focused environment where the customer comes first
