We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Assistant (Stores & Fleet) to join our Stores Team within the Property Maintenance and Construction Department, based in Spennymoor.
About the Role
In this varied and hands-on role, you will support the delivery of an effective and responsive business support service, with a primary focus on stores and fleet operations across all geographical areas of the Property Maintenance Department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with day-to-day stores and fleet activities to support operational teams.
- Providing a high-quality business support service across multiple locations.
- Undertaking manual handling tasks as required.
- Carrying out driving duties in support of the role.
This is a practical role suited to someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a team, and playing a key part in the smooth running of our in-house stores operation.
About You
Whilst not essential, experience within a materials procurement, stores, or warehouse environment would be advantageous. You will be:
- Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to get stuck in.
A full and valid driving licence is essential for this role.
