Multi Skilled Bricklayer

Ashington

Salary:£34,622 per annum

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled bricklayer to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department working within our Ashington maintenance team.

About the Role:

As a multi skilled Bricklayer you will be responsible for undertaking all brickwork and damp remedial repairs and associated multiskilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high standard but also for the delivery of excellent customer service.

Your Experience:

To be successful in this role you will have a flexible approach and experience of working within a domestic and commercial property maintenance and target driven environment. At Bernicia we are customer focused in everything we do, so you will have excellent customer service skills in the delivery of your work, conversing with a wide range of people in the delivery of a first-class repairs service.

You will be required to engage with all stakeholders of the service, acting as an Ambassador of Bernicia, promoting and endorsing the positive work that we do across our communities in the Bernicia way. We at Bernicia put people at the heart of everything we do, so it's important, that we deliver a first-class customer service where we are proud to be recognised for the quality service that we deliver.

Essential:

You will have a sound working knowledge of your trade discipline and exhibit sound knowledge of the wider building construction sector, understanding components, materials, building trades and applicable regulations. It is therefore essential that you hold a City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Bricklaying or the equivalent. and a full driving licence is essential. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer focused environment.

Desirable:

An appropriate CSCS card is desirable and Experience of working within a commercial and domestic property maintenance environment.
