About the Role:
You will be based at our head office in Ashington, covering Berwick, South East Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle but with flexibility to cover other areas of the region such as Durham when required. This is not your typical 9-5 desk job. You will be at the heart of readying our properties for the next stage of their journeys, ensuring they are safe, welcoming, and ready for residents to move in.
Key responsibilities will include (not exhaustive):
- Inspecting vacant properties and coordinating necessary works to ensure they are "ready to let" (RTL).
- Collaborating with contractors, social services, energy suppliers, and internal departments to bring homes back into use quickly and efficiently.
- Keeping meticulous records, tracking progress on systems like QL, and chasing updates when needed.
- Managing void energy transfers and resolving supply issues, liaising with suppliers like British Gas.
- Ensuring appropriate documentation including EPCs, gas safety certificates, EICRs, and cleaning records are in place.
