Location: Ashington

Contract: Permanent – Full Time

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £33,354 per annum.

Closing Date: Tuesday 12th August 2025, 5PM.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled bricklayer to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department working within ourAshingtonmaintenance team.

As a multi skilled Bricklayer you will be responsible for undertaking all brickwork and damp remedial repairs and associated multiskilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high standard but also for the delivery of excellent customer service.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have a flexible approach and experience of working within a domestic and commercial property maintenance and target driven environment.At Bernicia we are customer focused in everything we do, so you will have excellent customer service skills in the delivery of your work, conversing with a wide range of people in the delivery of a first-class repairs service.

You will be required to engage with all stakeholders of the service, acting as an Ambassador of Bernicia, promoting and endorsing the positive work that we do across our communities in the Bernicia way. For the technical bit, you will have a sound working knowledge of your trade discipline and exhibit sound knowledge of the wider building construction sector, understanding components, materials, building trades and applicable regulations.It is therefore essential that you hold a City and Guilds Craft Certificate inBricklaying or the equivalent.An appropriate CSCS card is desirable, anda full driving licence is essential. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer focused environment.
