About the Operational Trainer Role:
Due to an exciting new vacancy, an opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced trainer with a knowledge of Health and Safety (H&S) to support our ambitious strategic and operational goals where people and cultural development is high on our agenda. This is a new role which focuses on supporting our colleagues and the wider People function to identify, coordinate and deliver a range of role essential, operational and safety-based training to colleagues.
You will be responsible for partnering key areas of the business, in particular our property and maintenance trades teams, to develop and deliver role specific, H&S based training to increase our internal training offering. Working within our People Development team, you will work closely with H&S to ensure compliance with the training matrix is to an acceptable level, training records are accurately recorded and reported, and all colleagues are able to carry out their role maintaining required safety measures.
You will play a key role by supporting new starters and contributing to innovative and effective training methods to promote a safety and learning culture that supports and encourages the development of skills and knowledge.
About you:
Successful candidates will need a background and qualifications in training delivery with knowledge of H&S and be confident and capable of providing training and guidance using engaging and interactive methods. Ideally you will have certificates covering a range of H&S subjects which supports your ability to train others; however, instructor training will also be provided.
