The predicted salary is between 29200 - 37600 £ per year.
Location: Bernicia Head Office, Ashwood Business Park, Ashington.
Salary: £34,247 per annum with the potential to increase in April 2026 in line with a cost-of-living award.
Hours: Full time 37hrs per week Monday to Friday, or part time working would be considered at 30hrs over 4/5 days.
Contract: Permanent

About the Role:
Due to internal progression, an opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced People Development Coordinator to support our ambitious strategic and operational goals where people and cultural development is high on our agenda. This is an exciting role which focuses on supporting our colleagues and the wider People function to identify, coordinate and administer a range of training requirements in line with our Group Training Matrix. You will be responsible for leading a small team and managing digital platforms and methods of reporting to monitor and schedule all mandatory, essential and optional training events. Your role will be to ensure compliance with the training matrix is to an acceptable level, training records are accurately recorded and reported, and ensure all training related queries and requests are managed in a timely manner. You will play a key role within our people function implementing efficient processes and supporting talent and development projects to promote a learning culture that supports and encourages development and progression.
About You:
Successful candidates will need a background in leading a proactive and efficient administrative function or strong experience in coordinating training/events as well as a passion for learning.
