We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support ongoing maintenance, installation works and general electrical duties for a Principal Contractor on a large site in Essex.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical systems around the site compound.
- Install, test and commission electrical equipment, containment, cabling and associated infrastructure.
- Support general site electrical activities as directed by the site management team.
- Work safely in line with site procedures, RAMS and industry standards.
- Liaise with other trades and departments to ensure effective project delivery.
Requirements
- Approved Electrician / JIB card (or equivalent).
- Strong industrial installation and maintenance background.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- 18th Edition preferred.
- Experience working on industrial, construction or infrastructure sites.
- SSSTS, IPAF or other relevant certifications desirable.
Shift Pattern & Rate
- 10-hour shifts
- Outside IR35
- £275–£325 per day depending on experience and certifications
