We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support ongoing maintenance, installation works and general electrical duties for a Principal Contractor on a large site in Essex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical systems around the site compound.
  • Install, test and commission electrical equipment, containment, cabling and associated infrastructure.
  • Support general site electrical activities as directed by the site management team.
  • Work safely in line with site procedures, RAMS and industry standards.
  • Liaise with other trades and departments to ensure effective project delivery.

Requirements

  • Approved Electrician / JIB card (or equivalent).
  • Strong industrial installation and maintenance background.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • 18th Edition preferred.
  • Experience working on industrial, construction or infrastructure sites.
  • SSSTS, IPAF or other relevant certifications desirable.

Shift Pattern & Rate

  • 10-hour shifts
  • Outside IR35
  • £275–£325 per day depending on experience and certifications
