Job Description
Project Quantity Surveyor
London

Berkshire Talent Partnership is proud to be working with a leading infrastructure and energy developer. Our client has 1GW+ under construction or in operation, and 15GW+ at advanced stages in their project development pipeline. As such, this developer is expanding their team and is currently hiring for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to support their growing project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple works packages from project inception through to final accounting.
- Provide comprehensive financial and surveying-related information as required by Senior Management.
- Prepare cost estimates, cost planning reports, and other costing exercises.
- Prepare and administer various contract forms (predominantly NEC4).
- Prepare and administer applications for payments.
- Carry out assessments of Compensation Events.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.
- Pro-actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring that applications are made correctly and within contract timescales.
- Liaise with Contractor and Client representatives and other team members to ensure effective communications and a cohesive working environment.
- Attend Project Sites as required to meet project deliverables.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager, and delivery team to maximise the success of the project.
Skills Required:
- Contract Management experience (NEC3, NEC4 preferred).
- Degree qualified in Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Experience with Civils, M&E, Renewables, or Major Infrastructure projects in a Main Contractor or Consultancy capacity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and logical skills.
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices.
