As the client side Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in delivering one of the largest renewable projects in the southwest of the UK. The role will see you take a project from initial procurement through to on-site delivery in an EPC type environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the end-to-end management of large packages within a renewable scheme.
- Planning & Scheduling: Work closely with the Project Controls team to develop and manage detailed project schedules, pinpointing critical paths and key milestones.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with sub-contractor delivery partners, DNO’s and regulatory bodies.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks to ensure smooth project execution.
- Contract Management: Pre contract and post contract responsibility to assist in contract negotiations and management with suppliers and contractors.
- Technical Oversight: Working with the engineering team identify and mitigate design and technical risks.
- Budget Control: Monitor and report on project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Permitting & Compliance: Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and adhered to.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Implement and enforce top-tier safety protocols.
Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree, HNC or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Project Management Certification: APM, Prince2, or other recognized qualifications.
- Contractual Management Experience: Experience of NEC3, NEC4 or FIDIC.
- Experience: 2-6 years managing complex projects ideally within the power, renewable or utilities environment.
- Project Management Skills: Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
