About the Role We are seeking an experienced Construction Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical construction works on a large-scale energy infrastructure project in Essex / East of London. The role is working for the Principal Contractor and the successful candidate will take responsibility for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring installations meet required standards, and delivering the project safely, on time, and on budget. Key Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate on-site electrical construction activities. * Act as the main point of contact for electrical subcontractors, providing technical guidance and resolving issues on site. * Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, including risk assessments and PPE use. * Oversee electrical installation works to ensure they meet design, drawings, and regulatory requirements. * Carry out regular inspections and quality checks in line with the Inspection & Test Plan. * Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation. * Support the Construction Manager with inductions, weekly HSE inspections, and compliance reporting. * Monitor project schedules and support short-term lookahead planning with contractors. * Ensure all personnel are trained, authorised, and compliant with site requirements. * Promote a culture of safe working and intervene where unsafe practices are observed. About You * Strong track record as an Electrical Supervisor on major construction projects. * Experience working for a Principal Contractor * Good knowledge of industry standards, health & safety, and quality compliance. * Confident in contractor management and site coordination. * Organised, proactive, and able to maintain high standards under pressure.
