Berkshire Talent Partnership is seeking an experienced Civils Site Engineer to join the delivery team for the final stages of a major energy infrastructure project in Thurrock. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Project Engineering Manager and site team to ensure high-quality, on-time completion. Key Responsibilities: * Communicate and interpret design information for the site team and contractors, updating redline drawings where required. * Oversee quality control, checking works against drawings, reviewing inspection and test plans (ITPs) and managing non-conformance reports (NCRs). * Support resolution of technical issues, track civil/structural progress, and contribute to specifications and snag lists. * Assist with CDM documentation, health & safety files, and project handover packages. * Represent the company in meetings with contractors and designers. Experience & Qualifications: * 5β10 yearsβ experience in renewables, energy generation, or similar construction environments. * HND in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent). * Beneficial: knowledge of gas peaking plant construction, AutoCAD 2D, CSCS card/site safety qualifications, SharePoint. What Weβre Looking For: * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across site and office teams. * Broad technical knowledge of civil engineering works, including electrical/mechanical interfaces.
