Join our team at Sinah Warren, part of the Warner Hotels Group. Set within magnificent grounds, Sinah Warren is a beautiful, coastal, 258-bedroom hotel with a theatre, purpose-built spa, and leisure facilities (including gym and both indoor and outdoor pools), restaurant and bar located on Hayling Island off the Hampshire coast close to Portsmouth.
Warner Hotels are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join the busy and friendly kitchen at Sinah Warren, on Hayling Island.
What will I be doing?
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service.
- Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ensuring food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
- Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.
- Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback.
What are we looking for?
- A Sous Chef who understands the importance of working in a branded environment.
- The ability to create a culture of support and actively encourage teamwork.
- A willingness to challenge if standards aren’t meeting required levels.

- Understanding the importance of working with a branded menu.
- Experience of managing orders, food stocks and forecasting against occupancy.

- Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the department’s budget.
