We are looking for a Revenue Assistant Accountant to join our amazing team at Hemel Support.

Role Purpose:

The Revenue Assistant Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate recognition, recording, and reporting of company revenue in accordance with accounting standards. The role supports financial reporting, compliance, and analysis of revenue streams.

Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Recognition & Reporting
    • Ensure revenue is recognised accurately according to accounting standards.
    • Prepare monthly revenue journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
    • Review operational processes to determine correct revenue treatment.
    • Improve reporting processes, reducing reconciliation discrepancies.
    • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Analyse revenue trends and variances.
    • Support audits by providing documentation and explanations.
  • Compliance & Controls
    • Maintain strong internal controls over revenue processes.
    • Support external audits and internal compliance reviews.
    • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Systems & Process Improvement
    • Improve revenue processes, automation, and reporting accuracy.
    • Collaborate with sales, billing, and operations teams.
