Set within magnificent grounds, Sinah Warren is a beautiful, coastal, 258‑bedroom hotel with a theatre, purpose‑built spa, and leisure facilities (including gym and both indoor and outdoor pools), restaurant, and bar located on Hayling Island off the Hampshire coast close to Portsmouth.
The Operational Support Team Member plays a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of hotel operations through effective administration and team support. As our Operational Support Team Member, you’ll assist with general administration across a range of tasks, including employee relations, finance, new starter inductions, uniform, team training compliance, onboarding, and team engagement activities to ensure operational consistency and an excellent colleague experience.
You’ll be supporting the Cluster Operational Support Coordinator to ensure that the teams at the Sinah Warren and Lakeside hotels have what they need to run their departments effectively.
Key responsibilities:- Uniform and stationery ordering
- Petty cash processing
- Maintaining internal noticeboards and supporting internal communications across departments
- Acting as a point of contact for operational administration queries
- Coordinating onboarding administration and hosting inductions for new colleagues
- Supporting team IT queries
- Safe & Secure reporting and compliance
- Quarterly sundry stocktaking
- Coordinating uniform stock in line with budget
- Supporting with live in room checks
- Monthly float counts
- Tracking open tabs on tills, to ensure they are closed daily
- Supporting colleague wellbeing initiatives, engagement activities, and recognition programmes such as 'Glow Getters'
- Helping maintain a positive and inclusive team culture across the hotel
