Know Your Numbers

Make sure you brush up on your revenue recognition principles and accounting standards. Be ready to discuss how you've applied these in your previous roles, especially if you've dealt with month-end or year-end processes.

Showcase Your Analytical Skills

Prepare to talk about how you've analysed revenue trends and variances in the past. Bring examples of reports you've created or improvements you've made to reporting processes that reduced discrepancies.

Communicate Effectively

Since this role involves collaboration with various teams, practice articulating how you've communicated complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Highlight any experiences where your communication made a significant impact.

Be Ready for Compliance Questions

Expect questions around compliance and internal controls. Think of specific instances where you've supported audits or ensured adherence to accounting policies, and be prepared to explain your approach.
