What will I be doing?
Our Linen and Luggage Porter will be working around the hotel, supporting both guests and our housekeeping team with items that need to be moved correctly. This is a role where you will need to be comfortable with manual handling of large or heavy items on a daily basis
- Helping to move guest luggage as requested
- Storing and moving clean laundry around the hotel from delivery points to the storage areas
- Keeping the laundry area clean and tidy and
- Delivering the required bed configuration to the sections of the hotel to ensure the room attendants have all the correct bedding and towels to make/service the rooms.
- Assist in weekly stock takes of laundry
- Moving of chemical/disposable and consumable delivery's to the correct storage areas
- Collecting of all used linen from the hotel corridors on service or change over days.
