Are you an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for your next step in a supportive multi-disciplinary community team?

Our Children and Young People’s Integrated Therapy (CYPIT) East are expanding. We have exciting opportunities for qualified OTs at Band 6 and Band 7 with post qualification paediatric experience to join us in Maidenhead or Slough.

You’ll join an experienced multi-disciplinary community team with a passion for seeing children and young people reach their potential.

Working in CYPIT you will:
• Work with children and young people with developmental and complex needs
• Have independence and autonomy to manage your own caseload
• Join a collaborative team, committed to impact-based clinical decision making

Our core hours are Mon – Fri 9-5, with some flexibility. We welcome full-time and part time applications (from 30 hours) and have permanent and fixed term contract positions available.

• Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs

• Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model and providingsupport to more junior staff

• Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested

• Maintainaccurateand contemporaneous clinical records and provide written therapy plans and reports including contribution to the EHCP Assessment process and tribunals asrequired

• Use the Care Aims care planning approach, impact-based clinical decision making, and associated outcome measures

• Provide specialist clinical care including assessment,diagnosisand interventions, fora paediatriccaseload

The “must haves” for this role:
• Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC
• Post qualification experience working with children and young people
• Driver with access to a vehicle (or equivalent ability to travel between multiple sites efficiently)
