We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join Berkshire Healthcare as a Band 3 MSK Physiotherapy Assistant within our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team. This full-time role involves working across multiple sites, with flexible working hours, part-time options, and excellent training opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physiotherapists in delivering individual and group exercise programs, including exercise sessions, manual therapies such as massage, and patient education. Training will be provided.
- Maintain stock and equipment levels, ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained, and re-order supplies as needed, following infection control guidelines.
- Manage a patient caseload with simple, predictable conditions delegated by a therapist.
- Support administrative tasks such as reception duties, data entry, photocopying, assisting with audits, and updating patient records.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in healthcare or similar roles is preferred but not essential.
- Background in sports and exercise, with experience in delivering exercise and manual therapy, is desirable.
- Ability to work as part of a team with patience and empathy.
- Good computer skills across Microsoft Office and database software.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
