We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join Berkshire Healthcare as a Band 3 MSK Physiotherapy Assistant within our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team. This full-time role involves working across multiple sites, with flexible working hours, part-time options, and excellent training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist physiotherapists in delivering individual and group exercise programs, including exercise sessions, manual therapies such as massage, and patient education. Training will be provided.
  2. Maintain stock and equipment levels, ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained, and re-order supplies as needed, following infection control guidelines.
  3. Manage a patient caseload with simple, predictable conditions delegated by a therapist.
  4. Support administrative tasks such as reception duties, data entry, photocopying, assisting with audits, and updating patient records.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in healthcare or similar roles is preferred but not essential.
  • Background in sports and exercise, with experience in delivering exercise and manual therapy, is desirable.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with patience and empathy.
  • Good computer skills across Microsoft Office and database software.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
