Location: 66 Thunder Mountain Rd, Charlemont, MA, USA

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour (higher for returning employees). Benefits include free or discounted use of facilities and activities, food & merch discounts.

Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain downhill mountain bike trails by moving dirt, wood, and stone using shovels & rakes.
2. Maintain trails by removing debris, cutting brush, weed whacking, and managing terrain with fertilizing, seeding, and mulching.
3. Install and maintain drainage ditches and culverts.
4. Operate chainsaws, brush cutters, weed whackers, and other power tools.
5. Build and maintain wooden structures as required.
6. Wear and maintain PPE and manage tools and equipment.
7. Operate ATV safely and responsibly.
8. Communicate effectively with team members and management.
9. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and use good judgment.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Clear communication, experience with two-way radios.
• Mountain bike riding experience preferred but not required.

• Perceptiveness: Identify problems and initiate solutions.

Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role requiring working on uneven terrain, lifting up to 60 lbs, and working in various weather conditions. Must be physically fit and attentive.

Shift Requirements

Long hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. ATV safety training required if driving, first aid & CPR preferred.
