Work in Football at Berks & Bucks FA. Help clubs, leagues and local councils access funding to improve football for grassroots players, coaches and referees. Help to answer customer queries and support clubs in applying for funding to enhance their football.

We are the governing body for football in Berkshire & Buckinghamshire. We are responsible for leading, protecting, developing and supporting players, clubs, leagues, coaches, volunteers and referees participating in the game across the county.

What You'll Do

  • Support customers with general queries via email and phone
  • Support clubs applying for funding for grass pitches and other Football Foundation Grants alongside enrolment of clubs to FA funding programmes
  • Support with grass pitch testing and provide advice of relevant funding to clubs and other organisations
  • Support with reviews of 3G pitch usage, including attending steering group meetings where required to ensure community outcomes are met
  • Support the business in delivering excellent customer service through effective communication
  • Execute tasks as required to meet the Berks & Bucks FA changing priorities

Training Outcome

Work within County FA structure within Football. Other development opportunities could include working for governing bodies in other sports or charities involved in sport.
