Are you passionate about helping businesses navigate uncertainty and build resilience? We’re looking for a Risk Manager to join our dynamic Assurance / Risk Management function and play a key role in shaping our risk strategy.
Our Risk Management team acts as the second line of defence, ensuring our Risk Framework Policy is robust, effective, and aligned with our business objectives. You’ll help us stay ahead of emerging risks and support the business in managing and measuring risk.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain & Develop the Risk Framework – Drive risk awareness and training across the business.
- Manage Risk Registers & Controls – Keep our risk universe and controls up to date and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
- Lead Risk Assessments – Coordinate risk and control assessment cycles with business owners.
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators – Develop and report on risk metrics that matter.
- Investigate Incidents – Identify, escalate, and analyse risk events to ensure lessons are learned.
- Deliver Risk Reporting – Prepare materials for committees and stakeholders.
- Support ORSA & Internal Model Reviews – Contribute to regulatory and assurance processes.
- Drive Strategic Initiatives – From stress testing to ESG and climate risk projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: in Risk Management within Lloyd’s/London Market.
- Education: Degree, Master’s, or professional qualification in Risk Management or Insurance.
- Skills: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with prudential requirements (Lloyd’s, PRA, Solvency II/UK).
- Tech: Experience with enterprise risk platforms (e.g., Decision Focus).
- Mindset: Collaborative, proactive, and results-driven.
