- About Berkley Hunt
Berkley Hunt is a specialist technology recruitment firm, partnering with ambitious companies to hire elite talent across Product, Cloud, Data & AI, and Software.
Since launching in 2024, we've built a reputation for a consultative, relationship-first approach that goes beyond standard recruitment, working with some of the world’s most disruptive tech firms and start-ups.
We've grown from a founding team to 10 people in under two years.
Now we're entering our next phase of growth, scaling to 20+ people and beyond.
To support that journey, we're looking for someone who can help strengthen the people, systems and capabilities that will enable us to scale successfully.
The Role
This is a newly created, high-impact role for someone who enjoys helping ambitious businesses grow through great people, strong capability and smart systems.
Working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, you'll help shape and develop the internal foundations that support Berkley Hunt's next stage of growth.
Rather than building functions from scratch, you'll evolve and scale what already works - capturing best practice, embedding repeatable processes, and ensuring our people have the tools, development and support they need to succeed.
You'll lead three closely connected areas
Learning & Development, Internal Talent, and Employer Brand.
Together, these functions will help us attract exceptional people, develop high-performing teams and continue building a business that can scale without losing what makes it successful.
It's ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving how things work and building scalable solutions in a fast-moving business.
You'll work directly with the CEO and leadership team, with the autonomy to make a genuine impact on how Berkley Hunt grows over the coming years.
- What You'll Own
- Learning & Development
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape and continually develop Berkley Hunt's learning and development capability.
- Capture existing best practice and turn it into structured onboarding, training and development programmes that can scale with the business.
- Identify capability gaps and create practical learning solutions that support individual and business performance.
- Build clear development pathways, coaching frameworks and progression opportunities that encourage continuous growth.
- Help foster a culture where learning and development is embedded into everyday working life.
- Internal Talent
- Own Berkley Hunt's internal recruitment strategy, helping build the team that will drive our next stage of growth.
- Lead proactive outreach, talent nurturing and referral initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future hires.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first conversation through to onboarding.
- Partner with leadership on hiring plans and continually refine our recruitment process to attract high-quality talent.
- Support retention and career development by ensuring we're hiring people who will thrive as the business grows.
- Employer Brand
- Help develop Berkley Hunt's employer brand to position us as a destination for ambitious recruiters.
- Create and coordinate content showcasing our culture, career opportunities, team successes and employee stories.
- Work with the wider business to ensure hiring campaigns and employer brand activity consistently support talent attraction.
- Build awareness of Berkley Hunt within the recruitment market and strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice.
- Business Enablement
- Act as a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team on initiatives that support sustainable growth.
- Introduce scalable processes, documentation and ways of working that improve consistency as the business grows.
- Help ensure knowledge, best practice and operational excellence are captured and shared across the team.
What We're Looking For
- Experience across at least two of: Learning & Development, Internal Talent/TA or Employer Brand.
- Experience working within a growing or fast-paced business where you've helped introduce structure, improve processes or develop people.
- A versatile, proactive approach and the ability to move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working alongside founders and senior leaders.
- A natural problem-solver who enjoys building, improving and making things more effective.
- Genuine enthusiasm for developing people and helping build an ambitious, high-performing business.
- Why Join Us
- This is an opportunity to play a genuinely influential role in a business entering an exciting new phase of growth.
- It's a challenging, dynamic role that will suit someone with a versatile skillset who enjoys building, improving and solving problems across different areas of a business.
You'll work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, helping shape how Berkley Hunt attracts, develops and retains exceptional people while strengthening the capabilities and systems that will support the company's long-term success.
