What we are looking for:

  • A Chef who creates delicious and nutritious dishes for 5-star dining experiences
  • An individual to lead a highly skilled kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Someone who is compassionate and treats others with respect

Are you able to provide the following?

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or above
  • A minimum of two years’ experience of professional catering and L3 Catering Qualification or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of IDDSI, menu planning and creating dishes for different diets
  • A desire to ensure all dining experiences are of the highest standard
  • Support for residents to promote choice and dignity and in preparing their own food and drink if they wish to
  • Support with the organisation and preparation of food for special events and celebrations
  • Good communication, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene, COSHH and HACCP
