- Active NMC Registration
- Previous management and senior nursing experience in adult social care settings
- Detailed knowledge of clinical governance and nursing best practices
- The ability to lead, motivate, develop and delegate to others and be part of a supportive team
- Experience of promoting a caring and friendly environment where the philosophy of person‑centred care is at the heart of everything you do, including the empowerment of residents to fully participate in all decisions relating to them
- The ability to form relationships with a wide range of people, including residents and their families, the home team and medical professionals
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
