Berkhamsted School are seeking a proactive and organised Art Technician to support the smooth running of our thriving Art and Design Department across two campuses. Part of this varied role involves preparing materials for lessons, maintaining specialist equipment and studios, supporting ceramics and kiln operations, managing stock levels, and assisting with exhibitions and displays. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure an inspiring and well-resourced learning environment for our pupils.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in Art and Design, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the flexibility to manage a wide range of tasks. Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week, term-time only.
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8:30am to 4:30pm (including a one-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9:30am to 5:30pm (including a one-hour unpaid lunch break)
