We are seeking a Senior IT Storage Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incidents through to resolution
- Perform regular maintenance to ensure systems meet availability and performance standards
- Conduct storage monitoring
- Upgrade hardware, firmware, and software under Change Control protocols
- Rack and cable hardware
- Patch network connections
Working Conditions:
- Based on customer site
- Part of a shift team that includes one Network Specialist, one Infrastructure Specialist, and one Storage, Database, and Security Tooling Specialist
- There are a total of five shift teams
Candidate Profile:
- Experienced Storage Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Dell EMC products
- Practical experience in various IT areas, including servers, networks, security tools, and audio-visual equipment
- ITIL 4 qualified, with experience in implementing system changes via Change Control
- Eager and capable of learning new IT skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- A strong analytical approach to troubleshooting
