Step into the dynamic realm of Senior DevOps at a leading, innovative Investment/Trading company, where cutting-edge technology meets limitless potential. We are looking for the best talent, 5+ years in a commercial environment, candidates who command a £250k+ package.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a Bachelors degree from a Russell Group or top 100 world university, bringing exceptional expertise in automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Identify and utilize automation opportunities, taking ownership of both development pipeline and production environment automation, including continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with the Core Architecture team to evolve and scale systems in alignment with the growing needs of the business.
- PowerShell / scripting language
- C#, Java or Python with prior development experience or ability to code
- Infrastructure As Code: Ansible, Terraform or equivalent
- Containerisation using Docker, and orchestration via Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
- Monitoring with ELK, Grafana or equivalent
- CI/CD with TeamCity
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Windows and Linux administration experience
- Bitbucket, JIRA
- Octopus Deploy
- Static analysis tools
- Control-M
- Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- VMware (vSphere) and SAN experience
- A-Levels at grade A*/A/B (or international equivalent) and a minimum 2.1 degree obtained in Computer Science, or a related field, from a Russell Group University.
