Job Title: DBS Cleaner – Probation Hostel (Temporary Work, Bournemouth)
We are currently recruiting experienced Cleaners with a valid Enhanced DBS for temporary roles in Bournemouth, working within a probation hostel setting. It involves general cleaning of communal areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways. You’d be working independently and not in direct contact with residents, as shifts are usually timed to avoid busy periods.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for:
Cleaning communal areas (lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors)
Maintaining hygiene in high-traffic areas
Using appropriate cleaning products and following infection control procedures
Reporting any health and safety concerns to management
Supporting the overall safe and respectful environment of the hostel
This is an ideal role for someone with a strong work ethic, who is comfortable working in secure or social care environments.
Experience and Requirements:
At least 6 months of professional cleaning experience (hostel, care home, hospital, or similar settings ideal)
Enhanced DBS certificate (must be valid and in date)
Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Eligibility to work in the UK
3 years of work references to verify experience
